What is Mental Arithmetic?
Mental Arithmetic is a tested way of developing a child’s academic abilities and creative thinking in a balanced way, allowing them to reach their full intellectual potential. It’s more than learning how to count fast. Mental arithmetic leads to:
• A powerful visual and auditory memory
• Increased concentration
• Resourcefulness
• Innovative problem-solving methods
• Improved thought processes
At the beginning of the course, an abacus is used to learn the counting techniques. Later, children learn to do calculations in their head by forming a mental image of a number on the abacus and can do all mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with any numbers in mind.
What you will learn
Great teachers help create great students. It is crucial to keep teachers’s knowledge up to date, so they can deliver high-quality teaching. That’s why we pay close attention to teachers and support both new and experienced educators, which in turn, helps improve students’ learning.
